My Dear Wife, just a line hope you are all well as this leaves me going on alright. I was going to the base yesterday but the train could not take us all so we shall have to wait until next time. Same old thing Trench Fever. I am in the 19 C.C.S. of course I don’t get any of your letters now if we do 28 days in hospital we get our discharge from the army when we are but to come out it won’t make much difference to me because I am over age as all men over 41 are coming home. … once. How is Bob going on, is he settling out of it. I hope so. I ought to be home next month if every thing goes right and I shall be pleased. Have you had any snow yet.
