Sender of this postcard: Serjeant George Blenkarn 750339, was in the Royal Field Artillery, C Battery, 250th Brigade. He was killed in action on 26/10/1917 aged 22 years, only 3 months after this postcard was written to his brother. He is buried at Dozingham Military Cemetery in Belgium.

Dear Brother, Just a card to let you know that I arrived in London today. I looked for you at KX but not seeing you concluded you hadn't got off. Will ... I had a good 10 days. Up all last night.
